Pros
good pay/benefits (I only pay maybe $30 a month for an extremely comprehensive medical and dental plan). Very hard to get fired. good bonuses/performance incentives in the form of bonuses, movie tickets, gift cards etc. Very good company to work at for lateral mobility/education (education reimbursement)
Cons
upward mobility is somewhat congested by coworkers who have been in positions for 10+ years (for example going from a clinical nurse to an advanced clinician to a manager is very difficult, but going from CNA to RN is very easy due to a lot of internal hiring)
