Pros
- humility and genuine care for people- nice things happen without any agenda - amazing opportunities for impact and personal growth- flat hierarchies (we don't have levels which changes a lot of behaviours in positive ways) - truly agile: build, measure, learn and do it all over again - interesting roles which aren't common- which insurance related business has a someone looking after coaching & wellbeing or a behavioural psychologist? - true flexibility- we are empowered to work in a way that suits us best - we have interesting business problems to solve for and aim to disrupt the market: we have the capabilities and means to go after big business opportunities which is exciting!
Cons
- nowhere is perfect and whilst insurance didn't seem too sexy to me to begin with- I do get increasingly excited by it. - we do have still some work to do in the people space- but make great progress and did some cool stuff without compromising on our values and who we want to be
