Terrible culture, terrible senior management team, terrible working conditions, terrible customers and terrible senior management team again for good measure. Current UK MD is awful, although I don’t think he ever used quotes from Wolf of Wall Street to address his branch management team like Per Voergal who was another terrible MD. Just wish the Sixt family would employ a decent MD to oversee the UK operation. Over the last 2 years, practically every branch manager has left, some with very long tenures. Tim is working through his next batch of branch managers. Clearly retention figures don’t hold any weighting in the success of leaders. Revenue growth over the past few years is down to the YM team and the shortage of fleet in the worldwide automotive industry, not senior management expertise or talent.
