Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. I’m sorry you left here with a negative impression of Sovos, but I’d like to take a few minutes to address your comments.
I have to say I agree with your thoughts on Sovos being an intelligent environment with smart people. We work hard to ensure that we hire the best and brightest, and that our culture and values promote an environment where people of that caliber can thrive and grow. I also appreciate that you recognize our work to leverage current technologies. Thanks for the positive feedback on what you think we are doing well!
I am sorry to hear that you feel the team is treated poorly. We invest a lot of time and energy in training, onboarding and educating all of our people. I’m disappointed that you didn’t perceive that to be the case, and we’d love to hear more about your experience directly so we can learn.
We truly believe that our people are the most critical component in our success, though do actively look for culture fit and talent over experience because we’ve found it’s the best indicator of success. That being said though, we aim to strike the optimal balance between talented people early in their career and seasoned individuals who can guide and direct our teams by virtue of their experience. While we certainly don’t always operate with perfect balance, we are conscious of those imperfections in team makeup and strive to make adjustments where necessary.
Again, I’m sorry to hear that your experience here at Sovos wasn’t what you thought it should be. I appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback, and wish you all the best in your next challenge.
