We appreciate you recognising how Sparta Global truly is a great place to kickstart a tech career and set people up for a future in tech that is creative, flexible and has longevity. You are referring to both internal roles and what it means to be a Spartan, so whilst it is not possible for you to have experienced both of these streams, we appreciate your feedback regarding the great colleagues you worked with, network and learning opportunities.
However, we must address some of these comments. As a technology company, change is inevitable and our employees (as with other technology companies) do need to be prepared to be flexible and adapt to changing market conditions. It is not always easy, but it is something we love about working in technology.
You are correct when you state that Spartans must be willing to commute to roles away from their place of residence. Should this be the case, our teams work hard to make travel distances very short and management. In unique cases where relocation might be necessary we support through the whole process and offer interest free loans for expenses. Please note: agreeing to relocation is a very clear term in our contract that all Spartans are talked through and must sign to join us. If you will not relocate - that's ok! But you cannot be a Spartan. All Spartans in our Academy have agreed they can and will if needed.
We only work with client companies that share our commitment to being fair, equitable and inclusive employers that promise to support our Spartans in every way. However, we keep a close eye on things. Every Spartan has a dedicated Account Management, Engagement coordinator, HR and delivery team - all people who check in and can respond to any challenges Spartans may experience on site if they are informed.
We are really proud of our Spartan community and alumni network too, but Spartans must engage to really benefit from it. We put on events (online and in person) and invite Spartans to come to the office very regularly. We offer so much to our Spartans, but as consultants they do need to engage themselves as our employees.
In response to your comments around working in our Talent team - commission structure is based on experience and role seniority but is very fair.
