Pros
I joined Stryker immediately following graduation in May of 2017. I am now three months in role, and I have never felt more challenged in the best ways possible. Although I am currently in an associate level role, my projects and responsibilities have huge business impacts. Every day is different and exciting, and they are continually looking for new ways to push and developing me. When I compare my job to friends of mine who are also newly entering the workforce, they are very underutilized, and frequently have more time on their hands than they know what to do with. This is NOT the case with Stryker. If you thrive in a fast-pasted, performance-driven, company, this is the place for you. I am looking forward to continuously advancing my career at Stryker. Additional Pros: • Relationship-based company (I have met some of my best friends here) • Opportunities for growth (both cross-functional, and cross-divisional) • Corporate Social Responsibility (we lead through our core values)
Cons
The company culture is not for everyone. Stryker is a very innovative company, and is always looking for new ways to enhance performance. If you are not a high achiever and/or do not like change, it may be challenging to succeed.
