Pros
Some of the best reasons to work at Stryker are their recent implementations of paternity leave and extended maternity leave in the US.
Cons
Some of the downsides to working at Stryker are that once you are in the door your wage begins to significantly drop below a competitive threshold and often is below industry standards. If you are promoted from within you will not obtain a wage that is competitive with other companies, rather you will get a minuscule, usually no more than a 5% increase in pay, no matter the movement. It is also common for women to not be promoted in favor of a man; the term 'boys club' is a widely known phenomenon within Stryker. Stryker voices that they advocate for minorities and have an inclusive workforce, however, their constant need to be inclusive ends up being exclusive to women.
