Pros
Good intellectual challenges. Wonderful facilities. Most rank and file folks want to do their best. The hours can be very flexible and accommodating of time off when needed. Lots of opportunities to work from home which really enable more productive work hours even though I wasn't always in the office 8 hours a day. I probably average 10 hour work days and love the challenge of keeping all the balls of my personal and work life in the air.
Cons
Sales Management is very biased toward people who grease their palms. There are some very definite problems with some of the senior sales management motivations and I have been deeply troubled by their unchecked authority that is often wrongly used.
