Pros
Fun and young culture with high potential to make a bunch of money if you are willing to put in the time and effort. Work with a tight knit team who feels like family. Free lunches and other fun perks to make work more entertaining and motivating.
Cons
TEK has a high turnover rate because they burn people out. We lose people probably every other week because TEK expects too much from their employees with not enough return on the investment. You are expected to work at a minimum of 50 hours a week on a salary base of $50K per year- which is not enough for what is expected. Young culture creates a lot of internal drama that is unnecessary in a professional work environment. People don't know how to act like adults. Benefits are terrible when so many other companies have perks that show they actually care about their employees. If you are a woman and have any desire to have children or start a family, you will have a hard time advancing in the company- there is no balance. So if you want to live a lonely life and care more about TEK than having a family, you will love it at TEK. If you actually want to have a family AND still see them and spend time with them, you won't have a place at TEK to do so. If you do want to advance, you have to be willing to travel around the country and do whatever the company asks of you. Otherwise, you won't have much advancement other than local office sales and account management.
