Pros
TEK was not the place for me but that doesn't mean there isn't success to be had there or that it's an especially bad company. They hire almost anyone with a degree so it's not too hard to get in on the ground floor. If you can grind cold calls and are driven by numbers - this place can be a good fit for you.
Cons
You'll be asked to work more than 40 hours/week in order to hit quotas. Whoever you are assigned to as your lead makes a big impact on your day-to-day unfortunately as not all leads are created equal. The way they train you to recruit and the way you need to recruit in order to hit your quotas does not match up. In training they preach a lot of long-term, relationship-building based practices but in reality you need to have more of a throw everything at the wall and see what sticks mentality to be successful there. Also you need to at least pretend you're drinking the company kool-aid. If they suspect you're not "TEK material" you will quickly be pushed out.
