Pros

8 hours work, plenty of over time, great environment (provided by the people who worked there, not by the companuy's culture or similar).

Cons

Dealing with racist and rude customers and management, obsolete outsourcing business model, a high rotation of employees, no real opportunity to grow either personal or professionally outside the call center scheme, pointless and meaningless job, no commissions for sales. According to Mexican law, overtime follows a different patter of payment, given some "ifs" payment can double or triple and if you work on official holidays you get payed triple, Teletech does not abide by those obligations.

Not much training, only 2 weeks provided and then QAs begin right away.

Friendly coworkers Your work helps the people you talk to

Cons

Management only promotes friends Constant layoffs Hours can change at any moment and schedules have a mandatory change after 3 months No path to long term employment given Leadership never on same page Constantly given "black out months" so you can't utilize off time. At worst, had a 5 month "black out" period. Was not given any extra pay to compensate
