Very worthwhile in retrospect, but super stressful at times and very often thankless. - Shift Manager Taco Bell Employee Review

Pros

Gave me a strong sense of humility as a customer service and food service professional. Taco Bell hires its Shift Managers from within (sometimes), and therefore I was able to get management experience early in life.

Cons

High stress, high frustration, callous managers, training often takes the "throw 'em right in the deep end. He'll learn how to swim real' fast" approach, and I've found that to be very abrasive to new employees.
