Sometimes somewhat unrealistic goals, or very difficult to achieve
Training for sales is almost all hands-on, so you have to learn as you go and bring a lot of your own ability to the table (which, it’s important to bring sales ability to the table, but sometimes you just have to figure it out by yourself). I have always wished there was more formal training for sales.
The customer service side is tough sometimes. It’s most helpful if you have an extremely strong customer service background, are willing to go the extra mile to find the root of the problem, and are solution-oriented.
