Pros

Good people, good commission, good holidays, good culture - most importantly a lovely office environment, everybody's a similar age and we all get along well. My first recruitment job and I've been made to feel comfortable and supported throughout.

Cons

Sales is Sales and Recruitment's Recruitment... On target? Great, enjoy your life and the commission... Behind target? Hustle, you can make your own success...

Pros

Great team and a supportive culture, combined with a high performance environment where people are genuinely recognised and rewarded. As a growing business, there are strong opportunities to progress quickly and take on responsibility, with a good level of autonomy and exposure to leadership. There’s also a clear focus on development and continuous improvement as the company scales. Those who have worked at Oyster, have achieved some incredible things, it’s not always perfect but our heart is in the right place.

Cons

As a growing business, the pace can be intense at times and priorities can shift quickly. That said, this comes with the territory of scaling and creates a lot of opportunity for those who are proactive and adaptable. We set high standards and expect a lot from our team, which isn’t for everyone.

Pros

Flexible working arrangements Friendly work environment Down to earth CEO & Senior Leadership team Good market present and well known Academy training (good for people who are new to recruitment) You will be a specialist consultant in your niche Clear career path (for biller & management) Clear commission structure (increase % as you go up the ranks) - High average margins Various bonuses & incentives (in the form of lunches, holidays, cash bonus) Multi-cultural team Tailored people management approach from management (same goes for targets)

Cons

KPI driven Young team - both a pro and a con. Can feel unsupported if you are trying to expand beyond your allocated niche.
