      Pros

      Constantly learning new aspects of acute care nursing. Good benefits and flexible schedule.

      Cons

      Not all co-workers are friendly. Nurses have there specific "cliques" on unit. Some unfriendly hospitalist and some with unsafe judgements for patients care. High turnover rate with RNs. Nurse managers not resolving ongoing staffing issues. Many of the PCTs are lazy, with attitudes when nurses ask for help.

      Good benefits and generally good leadership

      Cons

      Typical large healthcare organization. Affordable care act ruined healthcare so its more about making money because it has become more of a business than care.

      No pros. It was a horrible place to work

      Cons

      If you were night shift, you had to work every holiday. The nurses were so lazy and never helped us. We ran around taking care of patients with no help. Changing them, cleaning up horrible messes, taking them to the bathroom and doing vitals with no help. Nurses would sit there eating while on Facebook, while we did all the work. Some would even be sleeping!
