Pros

-Strong mission statement and values focusing on diversity and inclusion -Invests heavily in mentorship, provides ample learning and professional growth opportunities, and facilitates collaboration across diverse departments/divisions -Flexible work arrangements for most of IT division (primarily remote/work from home positions, but with optional hoteling space available) -Good healthcare and other benefits, generous paid time off program -Relatively long-term job security

Cons

-Team culture, work-life balance, and employee satisfaction vary depending on which department and management/leadership you work for -Inadequate base salaries and unwilling to reward long-term employees, sometimes offering higher salaries to new hires (often with less experience) -Ambiguous job titles lack clear differentiation and have overlapping pay scales (management can make less than their direct reports) -Seemingly non-existent standards for promotion, leading to inequities within and across departments and divisions -Convoluted performance/merit reward system, forcing management to often award the same or only slightly higher % increase to mid-level performers as those going above and beyond. Most recent cap for annual raises barely covers the cost of living -Lack of clear direction from business and IT leadership, little to no prioritization of strategic projects, constant barrage of new requests/mandatory changes causing constant burn-out

Pros

No pros. It was a horrible place to work

Cons

If you were night shift, you had to work every holiday. The nurses were so lazy and never helped us. We ran around taking care of patients with no help. Changing them, cleaning up horrible messes, taking them to the bathroom and doing vitals with no help. Nurses would sit there eating while on Facebook, while we did all the work. Some would even be sleeping!
