Pros
Exciting industry. Some decent free swag. Coffee and Soda machine. Commiserating with certain fellow employees.
Cons
Low compensation. It’s well below market, and the benefits don’t make up for it. You can get more anywhere else, and often this means your coworkers are not the most capable. Unreasonable workload and expectations, high employee turnover is a mainstay. Constant meetings, 1-on-1s, group activities and unnecessary added distractions from the high workload. Surprisingly few people at Broomfield actually ski/ride, so it's not the culture you might think. Many folks plan to or "want to" but weekends are too difficult, and taking days off means you have to catch up on tons of work and missed meetings. Crowded, loud, cramped cubicles. Traffic on the commute continues to increase. Many initiatives (e.g., Flexible time off vs Paid time off, Pro-rating merit increases, Approach to minimum wage increases) are done to save money, and presented under the guise of doing the right thing or industry-leader thinking. Stock price soars as employees get none of it, low pay, limited bonuses and pay opportunities. This place is a joke.
