- so many changes (in leadership, our processes, our tools) and ongoing strategic uncertainty make it difficult to get stuff done and badly affected external relations - very few options to progress, career framework non-existent - crippling paperwork with inflexible bureaucratic processes - often quite top-down heavy - still a long way to go on EDI, especially within the organisation - emphasis continues to be on recruiting senior managers with technical expertise but not often lacking effective and inclusive management skills
