Pros
amazing benefits...6% company match, annual profit sharing contribution, stock purchase plan, tuition reinbursement, dental and health insurance, 23 days of pto after 3 years. If you work hard and have good sales and customer service results you can move up quickly. I was promoted from Teller to Lead Teller to Service Manager 1 to Service Manager 2 in 3 1/2 years.
Cons
Due to budget cuts it feels like we are always short staffed as we are only allowed a certain amout of hours per pay period we can schedule our employees. I enjoyed being a service manager 1 because the pay was hourly so I was paid for overtime. Now I work long hours and am not compensated for it. Some times you have to come into work on your day off if an employee comes in sick. Sometimes we are required to work 6 days a week if the store manager is on vacation (it depends on your district manager) There are difficult sales goals which can dampen employee morale. People are promoted to store managers just based on their sales numbers as bankers not based on leadership qualities of any kind
