Pros
The pay at Wells Fargo was good for the area and it was within the limits of the competition. The benefits were very good. The tools available are very up to date, and the flexibility in my schedule was nice.
Cons
Management had a warped sense of right and wrong. Situational ethics ran rampant. If you didn't agree with every word of management you were an outcast. If you weren't selling to every customer they thought you were not doing your job. Some policies were pointless and overlooked. Being an honest banker is very hard to do and I saw many times when dishonest bankers were rewarded time and again for opening accounts they shouldn't have, opening credit cards and lines of credit for people without their knowledge or consent and they were the ones getting the awards and recognition at parties.
