Pros
stability, good base salary, thats it
Cons
No avenues for advancement in retail. they are shrinking their footprint all over. even though they will tell you that you'll be on a path to become a Financial Advisor, they only hire outside advisors. If you're contacted by a recruiter to joint the team, just know that they are lying to you about what you will be doing. I've worked for Wells for over 10 years as a Premier Banker, (was formally an RBPB). I now am forced to sit in an office all day and open teen accounts and call horrible leads. that is the only metric for success they judge you by. In the past, you were golden as long as you were closing business. Now, I can close 4 million a quarter, and still get told that i don't have enough outreach calls on CRV, so I'm not meeting my job expectations. I just watched them pull 2 people from another firm and promise them a whole list of things that they don't deliver on, don't be fooled. The company doesn't care about you.
