There are so many but to highlight the top 5 that would prevent me from ever recommending this job: Pay - Extremely low for the industry and your prior experience is rarely considered Turnover/Recruitment- The turnover is insane, every 2 weeks you're signing a leaving card. With that said they are then employing people with little to no investigation into who they really are, no background checks, not enough of an interview process to weed out people who clearly aren't ready for this kind of position, lying in the recruitment process to get people through the door. Progression - You can work as hard as you want but unless you jump through the impossible hoops you will never see a promotion let alone a pay rise , and even if that time ever comes that pay rise is next to nothing! Admin/Workload- You spend your days trying to get a commission as your pay is so light but you are stuck acting as every other team, it seems like either everyone else doesn't know how to do their job or has been told the sales team are meant to know everything. The communication between teams and the various software required to complete your day-to-day tasks mean the team constantly fighting a losing battle with no direct line of communication between all the teams. The core of the business is flawed - The heart of Wowcher sadly is just all about scamming businesses out of money, refund fees , marketing fees and more than anything an ethos that believes they would rather take money off and ditch merchants who have given them great business then help resolve any of their issues or let them off any fees/ errors that are usually down to our side.
