Pros
The people I work with are bright, intelligent and helpful. Very human, eager to help each other out, very positive. When you're actually doing direct work with folks, it's a very positive experience.
Cons
The company is transitioning to a more standard North American style of corporation, and the leadership role has a lot of overhead attached to it... lots of meaningless reports, lots of meaningless presentations, lots of paperwork to do - especially at performance and salary review time. You're constantly calibrating and re-calibrating your team. Every sprint is audited. Upper management is erratic. Many promises made about North American growth for years, with little to no follow through. Company has a hard time making a plan, sticking with it and giving people time time to do the engineering.
