Pros

You learn to develop a backbone because you will learn really quickly leadership cares about making money more than they do being diplomatic and running an efficient company.

Cons

This company is horrible - leadership has no idea how to turn this into a well developed system so they literally just lay people off and try to re-arrange teams all the time - disorganization everywhere and Henry and Chris are so disconnected and have no empathy for anything they are all about $$$$ at the cost of their top talent and even customer relationships

Hi, Chad Herring here, CHRO for ZI. This recent and only RIF the company conducted in our history was a tough decision and we tried to make it as soft a landing as possible for the people impacted. This is why we communicated very transparently about why we did it and the severance packages we were providing to impacted employees. Our Founder & CEO and President & COO are very close to the business's daily operations, so much so that long-time AEs, Directors, and Managers regularly contact them directly with ideas. Unlike other tech companies, the team built a high-growth but durable business, which helped us avoid the vast RIF numbers we've seen at other companies. We provide as competitive compensation, stock grants, and benefits as possible while maintaining a strong and growing business that will be around for 50 years. The suggestion box for all employees is always wide open.

Pros

Get stuff done culture. Really increased the talent density over time. Good people who genuinely care. Forward thinking on AI - most companies are not there

Cons

Pace can cause whiplash - but a lot of it is market conditions and the need to adapt

Pros

ZoomInfo has an incredible company culture that truly stands out-- even working remotely, you feel connected and part of something bigger. The company has a strong focus on being a leader in its space and is constantly innovating, which keeps the work exciting and meaningful. There is a genuine willingness to let ideas and concepts flourish, and employees are empowered to contribute in real ways. I am coming up on four years here, which speaks for itself-- this is a place where you can grow, get promoted quickly, and build a real career. The development resources are outstanding, including McKinsey Leadership programs, internal leadership courses, and LinkedIn Learning. Managers are supportive and invested in your success which makes showing up to work exciting

Cons

At times, communication between departments can be a challenge at the individual contributor level, which can make cross-functional collaboration feel a bit siloed. Additionally, there is still work to be done around diversity in leadership-- increasing representation of people of color and women in leadership roles would make an already great culture even stronger.
