I'm happy I haven't been fired yet like many of the other senior staff. The only reason you're seeing positive reviews right now is because my friends who were fired don't want to lose their pension by telling the truth on here. iCIMS is located in a beautiful building none of us are allowed to work in right now. If you are related to someone in the executive suite great news! iCIMS is hiring. They give away free diet sodas and sometimes pizza as they work individual contributors to death while blaming them for the leadership failures that have crippled the company. The entire executive team is brand new and so is their focus. It used to be about helping people and providing the best service. Now, it's only about profit and annual recurring revenue. The people who started the company have cashed out. That is a pro for them for sure.

We should have seen the writing on the wall when the new CEO gave the entire staff new backpacks on his first day, but who could have predicted that less than two months later he'd be firing over 10% of the 1000 person staff? Maybe ironic isn't the word to describe it, but earlier this year executive leadership promised us that they would be working on employee retention as a main focus in 2020 because it was so expensive when even a single person leaves the company. Firing some of the most passionate, knowledgeable and hardworking people who have been with the company for many years, seems contrary to that goal. Corona virus definitely impacted the business, but management was telling everyone how much more productive we were while working from home. We were working extra hours to win new business and adding to our pipeline by promising the best customer experience and a newly redesigned interface. Then the UI developers and customer service reps were eliminated in bulk. If you want to work for a company that expect 100% devotion and loyalty from you, while showing you none, then this is the place for you. If you're great at making more money for the venture capitalists by any means necessary, sign up and maybe win yourself a trip in the short term. Just don't plan to be here very long. They don't want people who know too much or have too much history with the company. It's a shame. They used to be a scrappy underdog with superior ingenuity, heart, and intelligence. Now, the shiny red apple exterior hides the rotten core within, spoiled by greed.
