Poor EMEA Culture

Pros

The platform is capable and configurable, though not user friendly. The pay is reasonable compared to others in this space.

Cons

EMEA leadership are dismissive of anyone they do not deem to be 'at their level' and worst of all are demeaning to the team when things do not go their way. The platform itself is clunky and overwhelming to prospects, customers are frustrated with long lead times for implementation kick offs, poor customer service/support (not based in EMEA) and customers are unaware of platform updates unless they proactively reach out to their CSM. For a 'global' organisation, there is a severe lack of language capability, both on a platform and support level. Integrations are a real challenge, and clients are surprised that not only do they have to build to iCIMS APIs (iCIMS will not do the work), but they also need to pay for access to the endpoints they require per integration. Nobody goes into the office, and individuals are so busy they have no time to help colleagues and in particular newcomers who have questions on process/product.

Pros

If you like working hard to be dropped for cheaper staff this is the place for you!

Cons

They are laying off very qualified and competent staff and replacing them with staff in India in a bid to save money. Bare basic ‘benefits’. Change everything every 2 months. Reorg every year and your account book changes all the time so you can’t build valuable relationships with your customers because you get new ones the following year and then penalized for not growing accounts.
