      Pros

      As part of my role, I had the opportunity to work with different teams, including the Product Development and Implementation Teams. You also get the opportunity to interact closely with customers. Due to employee feedback and a competitive market, Emydex have introduced improved benefits for employees. The teams you are working with are all very helpful and friendly and are willing to share their knowledge.

      Cons

      The workload was large which could become overwhelming at times, so more support can be needed at times.

      Pros

      I have been working for Emydex for a number of years. During this time I have seen the company grow from being based in Ireland to expanding across to Australia, New Zealand and Canada. As they have grown, there has been a great reform of benefits, processes and overall management.

      Cons

      With the expansion, working remote has its natural cons but that company does invest in getting us together online or in person to minimise this

      OK for .NET People are generally quite nice Commute is good if you live near Blanch Generally not expected to work over core hours

      Cons

      - No career progression - No benefits at all - No sick pay - Salary isn't competitive - High turnover - Don't get the impression they actually care about their employees, it's always about the customer

Contrary to your statement Emydex does provide benefits; a few to note are: • All employees are eligible to join the Company's contributory pension scheme once they have passed their probationary period of 6 months. • Emydex Technology has always provided sick pay, we provide 100% sick pay for employees. • Early finish Fridays -finish 90 minutes earlier than your usual working day. • ‘No Meeting Wednesdays’ to allow staff to have innovative time. • 'Refer a friend' scheme. • Bonus – based on achievement of Smart KPI objectives. • One year additional day of annual leave can be accrued with every YOY tenure, up to a max of 25 annual leave days.
