      Good People, Poor Management

      Pros

      Had a good set of talented, hard working people. Daily interactions were very pleasant and fostered a good environment for productivity.

      Cons

      Underpaid. Company does not compensate well and only gives raises when people submit resignations. Management had no clear direction nor strategy. Company was burdened with debt and overexposed with public stock at penny pricing.

      Pros

      Employs some talented engineers who are very skilled at researching, developing and testing photonic integrated circuits. The target markets are growing rapidly, too.

      Cons

      The company was left with bad debts resulting from poor management acquisitions several years ago. This makes the daily operation of the business untenable as no vendor is willing to extend credit.
