Pros

Company was great until it was acquired.

Cons

Where should I start? Since the acquisition, lots of turnover. Lost most of management team, and there have been layoffs.

The change is awful

Pros

Great team members, is flexible

Cons

I’ve been with envision for 2 years. The CEO change is awful. When I first joined it felt like family. The CEO joined your onboarding and spoke to you like family. Almost overnight, the new CEO came in and ever since it feels like a corporate feel. They claim they did a market review but give us a 2% annual raise, our salaries are well below competing job offers at the moment, and promotions to a higher job title put you THOUSANDS behind other company. The focus has been on acquisitions instead of medcomms. And instead of them paying their employees fair wages, they send out emails almost daily about a new executive being hired that you already know is getting paid in the high six figures. The CEO comes off as very selfish, I’ve heard there were layoffs that were swept under the rug, and leadership feels like a whole other level that can not be touched.

AVOID if you want a future

Pros

Team leaders and mid level management. Work life balance

Cons

The trend with this company has been concerning to say the least, specifically within the past few years. What once was a very employee driven, open to criticism atmosphere has devolved into numerous office closings and all of the confounding layoffs that go with it. Continuing to “downsize” in the areas that need more help. Upper management hires that seem to concentrate on friends of friends of CEOs while claiming to not have the budget for simple, industry standard infrastructure upgrades. We have watched CEO after CTO get hired, while simple day to day operation assets get ignored or left to fall far out of date. Speaking from a support perspective, we keep hearing about nothing but AI while day to day operation engineers and desktop support teams get thrown to the wayside. No lateral movement within the company. No standardized training. No upward movement whatsoever. If you want an easy job where you’re just a number and get legos for your recognition rather than any kind of kudos or simple gratitude, this is the place for you!

A company in decline

Pros

Some flexible working options and a few great colleagues who genuinely try to support each other. Benefits are decent, but that’s about the only stable positive left.

Cons

The company has been going through continuous rounds of layoffs, which has severely damaged morale and created a constant sense of uncertainty. Leadership changes have been frequent and disruptive, and there is very little transparency around decisions or the future direction of the business. Teams are increasingly understaffed and overloaded, with little recognition or meaningful support. Career growth feels limited, as most energy is focused on reacting to internal instability rather than developing people or improving processes.
