The CEO and CTO are incredibly underqualified individuals. The CEO, who used to run an advertising company, still believes it's all about catering to the client's every whim. When a client requests a one-off feature for a tournament, it immediately becomes the top priority, even if the CEO has falsely assured the client that it's already possible. Moreover, the CEO spends time criticizing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, mocking the COVID vaccine, and dismissing the importance of mental health. It's evident that he's just another out-of-touch, older CEO. As for the CTO, they resemble BigHead from Silicon Valley—a person with a limited understanding of technology, yet they're in charge of a significant number of people. Their management style involves scheduling meetings and forcing some employees on camera, while protecting their incompetent friends whom they've hired. Some of these individuals are simply incapable of real work. In meetings, the CTO shamelessly presents PowerPoint slides, often copying and pasting directly from Google's own slides without even removing the Google logo. It's truly astonishing. One can't help but wonder why the owner of the company allows this inept individual anywhere near the codebase.
