Pros

Great Products, Great US team view of the business. The global vision of the company is good! Some very good individuals in Colchester who are working hard to make the difference but one hand cant clap... it is a full team effort.

Cons

- An unpleasant environment in the Colchester office due to old inherited culture but to be fair some employees are amazing… You can’t say a joke in Colchester... - There is no presence of HR in the UK... - The recruitment team are in-house/US based, will sell you lot of crap and fake promises. They can sell you another job and shock you with the reality later... - There is no presence for medium-tier management, it does not exist... - Senior management doesn't listen to the advice of the non-existing mid. The GM in Colchester should be supported not underminded. - (Some People) will mock your accent, origin.... even as a joke

Pros

Great product, lots of strings to the bow. Exciting industry very niche with a different sale almost every time.

Cons

Poor EMEA management, hostile environment where employees are worked into the ground and frowned upon if emails and calls from management are not answered at all hours. At times can be seen to be run like a dictatorship. Lots of internal politics and favouritism, management more concerned with getting one up on each other than actually helping others.

Horrific cover up culture

Pros

Free parking, there is a free water fountain that dispenses tepid water.

Cons

There is a horrendous cover up culture at Anvil, the lack of transparency is a huge cause for concern for those with a moral compass. Salary is not industry competitive, constant revolving door of staff which is embarrassing but the non existent leadership don't seem interested in listening concerns/addressing the issues. Since the acquisition by Everbridge, you'd think thinks perhaps should have got better, at least the promises were vast! If anything it's got worse, the leadership seems to disappear, its a constant 'oh that needs escalating to someone at Everbridge' but no one knows who that someone is.

Thank you for your feedback. In the 10 months since Everbridge acquired the Anvil team, we've had a team dedicated to making the integration a success - and yet we understand that the challenges that come with managing the day-to-day business in addition to the work of merging two businesses. We are proud of the success we have had, including onboarding new customers and offering improved compensation and benefits to the Anvil team, and we continue to look for opportunities to streamline our process and reduce complexity. We look forward to all of our teams aligning under our customer-focused mission as we continue forward and improve our internal operations. As part of our people-first culture, we conduct an annual employee survey to ensure we are listening to and actioning the feedback from employees. We were encouraged to see strong positive results, including from our Anvil team members. We give all employees the opportunity to lend productive feedback for areas of improvement on their respective teams. We hope you added your voice, and if you haven't already, we hope you will consider reaching out to the People team or your manager to discuss your concerns with a member of the team and help us find solutions to address your concerns.
