        Pros

The people at Exclaimer are so willing to help each other by explaining, training or jumping in to support with any issues or asks. There is a culture of making suggestions for improvements and ways of working that allows people to propose change and see their ideas acted on. The company is small enough that there is a big opportunity to make an impact on company growth and activities and I have greatly enjoyed being able to bring projects and ideas to life. We also have a training budget to support learning and career goals.

        Cons

The company is changing and growing quickly which is a challenge for both new and tenured employees - it gives an opportunity to create your role but means the pace is quick. Most teams are busy creating and building a lot of process, operations and changes to put in place systems and capabilities you take for granted in larger more established companies. You need to be happy to create and build while working!

          Pros

          - The company is mature in it's product and processes, so there isn't the same frustrations you'd find there with younger companies. - Goals are clear and regularly re-visited to see progress and adapt as needed. - Lots of support and encouragement from management to learn and make good software. - Not afraid to make and learn from mistakes. - No blame culture. - Lots of support for training, both in time and budget. - Good work/life balance. - Remote work. - Great pay, decent enough benefits (healthcare, pension, holiday, flexi-time). - Communication is usually pretty good.

          Cons

Can't think of any significant cons so far! The benefits package could be a little better, just in terms of better discount services and maybe offer a wellbeing allowance, but that's about it.

            Pros

Team success is celebrated with some sweets delivery :) Work from home policy with exclusion of working hours :) Training budget

            Cons

Continually monitoring to details and constant pressure that brings a lot of stress. Employees double standards. Don’t care about their employees unless family related. Compensation is low. No benefits or reward packages. Everything is chaotic, takes ages some issue to be resolved. Very low possibilities to progress. There is no communication, team work does not exist.

              Pros

Innovative like getting employees to leave 5* Google ratings pretending to be customers

              Cons

There really is a lot that doesn't sit right at this company, like gettin the sales staff to sell a new product that never ends up working correctly or not having any appraisals in which to voice your opinions or concerns. There are thse that belng at Exclaimer and those that never will

Thank you for your review although we are disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your time with us, we always value feedback. We have created BETA trials for products for example and always maintain regular communication with customers on the quality of products. We see testing out new products and BETA trials as a positive activity which enables us to work with customers to test out opportunities and get feedback from customers so we can build better solutions in the future. As a company eager to gain feedback from customers and strong verified reviews your suggestion around Google is one that sounds at odds with our approach, but we will investigate. Exclaimer does have a biannual review process in place and appraisals that enable employees to voice concerns, and we also have regular 121’s, objectives and goal setting for all employees. Additionally, our HR team are always on hand to discuss and support employees with any concerns and would be happy to discuss those you have if you wish.

                Cons

We are moving pretty fast and you do need to be comfortable with change, which may not be for everyone.

Great to hear you are enjoying working with our wonderful colleagues, we do think we have some great people at Exclaimer and that we provide a warm and friendly environment. We also appreciate your feedback about ensuring everyone has a voice, something that we try to do through our management style and approach, but we would love to find out more about how you think we could improve this. If you would like to reach out to your manager or one of the people team we would like the opportunity to talk to you more on this.

Company is doing great fanatically (unless you are asking for better benefits). The people are great to work with. Work from home (although some managers are trying to claw this back)

                      Cons

Management and culture is mostly toxic, no communication between departments and almost no opportunity for advancement. Company is a permeant slave to investment the more investment it gets the worse management and culture gets.

Is it normal that after the pre-interview with HR, and after he mentioned I would have the first interview with manager xx, he just disappeared? I sent an email and called the office a week later but no answers from him. Is this the way KPMG recruit people? He also contacted me two months later from the day I applied.

I've been on the job market for the past 4 months, facing challenges with securing interviews. I'm contemplating enrolling in Career Elevator (www.mycareerelevator.com) to refine my interview skills. Additionally, I'm intrigued by ApplyAll.com, a tool for automating job applications. Has anyone used either program to enhance their job search? I'm eager to learn more and would greatly appreciate any advice or insights you might have! Thank you in advance for your help!

                      Manager

Confused. Currently working for a mid sized firm with big clients but have been offered a role through my network for a relatively small startup but a with higher designation / lead role & similar salary to my existing pay. The new role is more strategy + lead but non technical while my current role is managerial level but more technical. If in my position, would you stay in your current role or take the new one?? Happy to answer follow up questions. Thank you.
