Pros
Have real world experience learning to talk to C-suite and upper level management. Develop experience and understanding of how conferences are put together. Great compensation if you're willing to do the work. Great sale support team to help closed deals
Cons
Not for you if you're not willing to make a lot of cold calls. Lots of turnover with people who aren't used to sales. Joe the boss, at that time 2012-2013 had a bit of an ego and temper issue. I did still learn a lot from him. Hopefully things have changed since then.
