Pros

A great place to work and grow professionally. The leadership team is approachable, actively listens to employees, and values their feedback. They strive to make fair and transparent decisions that support both the company's long-term success and employees' career growth. The collaborative culture and opportunities to learn and take on new challenges make it an excellent workplace.

Cons

There are occasional periods of high workload, especially during major releases or customer commitments. Improving resource planning and prioritization could help maintain a better work-life balance.

Pros

You'll learn how corporate buzzwords like ownership, transparency, and people-first culture can mean something entirely different in practice. Great place to build patience—an appraisal cycle that runs from April to March can apparently be concluded whenever management feels like it. (Apparently, in June last week, delayed twice after two emails from the HR head and one Townhall by Mr.CEO) If you enjoy uncertainty and surprises, you'll love waiting months to find out that your increment is 0%. NO PROMOTIONS! Be there for years!

Cons

Appraisals were delayed until the end of June with little transparency, only to result in zero increments for most of the employees and some nonsensical ESOPs that are worth nothing in the future! The unofficial strategy seems to be: "Let's become profitable by not giving appraisals, increments, or promotions and ask everyone to wait for the IPO." Deserving employees and high performers are not adequately rewarded or promoted. Leadership appears more focused on cost optimization than employee retention and morale. Excessive micro-management from some senior PM(s) and Engineering Director(s) has created a low-trust environment. I don't know how these senseless people become engineering pillars in product-based companies, Ohh! Sorry, this company is being marketed as PBC but actually, it is service-based in a true sense, as for every client you need to do some JUGAAD, of course! as these are being promoted by PM and the Engineering Director, not from developers! Engineers spend more time on status updates, approvals, and firefighting than solving meaningful technical problems. Frequent priority changes, unrealistic timelines, and constant context switching lead to burnout and unnecessary rework. Technical debt and engineering excellence often take a backseat to short-term delivery pressures. Career growth and compensation decisions lack transparency and consistency. The company has many talented people, but poor leadership decisions and micro-management are gradually making the work environment worse and more toxic.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely value every perspective, even when it is critical, as it helps us reflect and improve. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to provide some additional context on a few of the points raised. This year's performance review cycle followed a revised timeline, which was planned to accommodate key organization-wide priorities and events scheduled during April, while also ensuring managers had adequate availability for meaningful one-on-one discussions and performance assessments. The revised timelines were communicated proactively through Town Halls and email updates, and we remained committed to keeping employees informed throughout the process. Compensation decisions are based on multiple factors, including individual performance, business impact, and the overall performance framework. While outcomes may vary, every decision goes through a structured review process and is discussed during individual performance conversations to provide clarity. In case of further clarification, you can reach out to respective HRBPs to discuss further. Regarding ESOPs, they are part of our long-term wealth creation philosophy and were communicated through Town Halls, and mentioned in the individual compensation letters. We understand that ESOPs can raise questions around valuation, vesting, and future value, and we continue to encourage employees to reach out to the People & Culture team for any clarification. We are also planning dedicated awareness sessions to help our people better understand this program. We also take your feedback on leadership experience, career growth, and ways of working seriously. Creating an environment where our people can learn, grow, and do their best work remains a priority, and we continuously seek feedback to improve our practices. We appreciate you sharing your perspective.
