Pros

Struggling to fill this mandatory field.

Cons

Starting at FarEye, I walked into what can only be described as a circus, but it was a place that started to show promise after some new key hires so I carried on. Following consistent failure due to many teams within the business, I, along with many others, were laid off after an over-hiring surge - reflective of many other start-ups in the industry with big strategy plans and the complete lack of ability to execute. Nothing but big visions and inexperienced leadership. During my time at FarEye, I was subject to constant harassment and bullying by one particular employee. This was known to many of my colleagues, it was ignored by leadership and no action taken. Despite several complaints, I was advised by HR that no conversation was “off the record”, I was advised by fellow colleagues that the person in question was “untouchable” and that given my gender and “cultural differences” I needed to just put up with it. This is nothing but a toxic company, built on aspirational values. The blinkers worn by the leadership are creating huge cultural divides (despite wanting to apparently be a global company). Unless you’re a legacy employee who is protected by senior leadership, you probably won’t stand a chance. At FarEye, “friendships” overtake talent. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

- The best thing about this place was quitting (as a result of 6 months of awful, toxic, nasty behavior that took place in the UK office) - When I quit after one particularly horrible incident with an awful woman in the sales team, I was offered 2 months' full pay and extra commission if I didn't report the incident to HR in India as they didn't want them to know that there was any trouble in the UK office.... - Terrible terrible business but the only pro was leaving and landing a job I love in a place where I feel valued and enjoy coming to work!

Cons

- Left this company just over a year ago after continuous horrible, nasty behavior in the workforce (sales team) - I cannot stress how awful this company is to work for... AVOID AT ALL COST - Poor poor management, bully-ish members of the team (sales), toxic atmosphere, training was TERRIBLE (watch 18 hours of videos on logistics to sales and then expect you to sell to Enterprise companies!) I cannot think of one positive about this place other than it taught me what NOT to put up with in a working environment - Pale, male and stale... I was told to wear a short skirt and lots of make-up to draw in middle-aged men to our stand at an exhibition in Vienna. Directions from a senior middle aged member of staff...
