Pros

Young team, which wants to grow. A beer on a Friday, if you can get one.

Cons

Pretty much everything is a downside. The CEO speaks to you like dirt. If they ask your opinion, don't bother giving it, as they won't care and laugh in your face. Management skills are extremely lacking in most of the people that work there. Customer Service department are used and thrown away like toys. The turnover of staff is the highest I've seen in any company. You will often be told that if you don't do something (like work weekends/evenings/ cancel your holiday or even not come in when ill) you're extremely easily replacable. If Customer Service department gets too many negative complaints (due to the fact that there's no staff to answer calls/emails/chats, because the CEO REFUSES to employ more people) be prepared to be made a scape goat and be unceremoniously fired, without any basis - no previous feedbacks of company not being satisfied with your work. Horrific place to work at.

We’re sorry to hear that this was your experience at the company.
Our business is very seasonal, so it might be possible that team members are required to work extra hours in the busy periods, but we do offer time in lieu for all teams, should that be the case. We think that it’s important to be able to take that time off later and encourage staff to do so as the season starts to quiet down to get some rest.
We’re also sorry to hear that you haven’t had the best experience with management. Some of our managers are in a leadership role for the first time in their career, but we believe in every manager’s abilities and are proud that a lot managers have been promoted into their roles from within the business. They get regular training to help them build on their abilities and can rely on our very experienced C-Suite at any time. We value every one of our staff and we follow ACAS approved processes whenever handling a staff related situation to ensure everyone is treated fairly and equally.

If there’s anything that you’d like to discuss in more detail, feel free to reach out to our HR department at any time.

Pros

Great company to turn your life to the worse and pursue a field study into moral misery

Cons

If they have a chance to breach contractual agreements for short term gain, they will take it. If they have a chance to lie about revenue numbers, trustpilot/glassdoor reviews and any other facts to get out of trouble, they will take it.

Pros

You get to have 1 or 2 beers on a Friday after 4pm (if a certain few employees haven't rinsed the stash - But don't think you can leave before 6pm, not allowed!

Cons

No teamwork, as everyone is unhappy in their role here and well underpaid. Nobody is listened to by senior management, and forget your line manager being able to back you, nope, they're just as scared of upper management. Such a poor environment to try and grow in. No real perks or discount, working in the festival industry, you'd think we get to attend these festivals we work so hard for. Wrong again. CEO constantly cutting corners all around, to make a larger profit. 5 sick days a year, and yes if you're sick for 3 days with flu, that would mean you only have 2 sick days left for the rest of the year. Staff turnaround is so high here, so no real "team feel". The list goes on... I would not recommend working here.

We're sorry to hear that this is or was your experience at Festicket. If you're still working here, I'm sure you appreciate the new benefits we just introduced, including 25 holidays for everyone, 15 sick days per year, 5 pm finish on Friday and the new "Year of the Festival" programme that will allow people to travel to Festivals, all expenses covered, to experience our product first hand.. If there's anything you'd like to discuss in person, please reach out to your manager or the people team at any time!
