I appreciate you leaving feedback and feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any further thoughts.
We are a company that is growing fast and this certainly translates to our crew and their development. Everyone has development plans in place - supported by our training budget - and crew have utilised this to achieve professional qualifications, industry recognition and in many cases internal promotions within the company. Others have taken the opportunity to develop their skills at Finder before taking the next step in their career or moving to a more suitable company if an entrepreneurial organisation like Finder was not the best fit for them.
I am very proud of the culture we have built in the UK over the past 6 years. We can see from our engagement survey results and our UK Best Company to Work For 2022 award that the crew in the UK are supported, motivated and trusted in the work that they do and our fantastic and professional people and culture team play a vital role in helping us achieve this. This is further evidenced by our low turnover rate and the number of crew exceeding 5 years at Finder in the UK.
The global benefits we offer are continually improving and, as you touched upon, we offer a wide range of support in terms of working arrangements including life leave, flexible hours, hybrid WFH/officetime, remote roles, working from overseas up to one month a year and market leading parental leave. It’s important to note these benefits are, and always have been, available to all permanent crew equally.
I believe our crew really enjoy the collaborative and fun atmosphere in our office and appreciate the effort we have put into our London Bridge location, free lunches, diverse socials and perhaps even the comfortable Herman Miller Aeron chairs! We also offer some remote roles on very competitive salaries with all the intrinsic benefits of working remotely.
I hope that you were able to develop in your time at Finder and wish you the best in your career,
Jon
