Pros
I've worked at 3 consultancies (1 Big 4 and 1 slightly smaller one) and Finyx is undoubtably the best one. Here's why: - Real ownership - all grades are trusted to own initiatives however big, small or transformational - The culture in unrivalled - a true team that is not suffocated by hierarchy, with a genuine desire to make the firm a better place to work and deliver the best solutions to our clients - Managment team listen - the directors and management team are genuinely interested in everyone else's views and perspectives and do their to make Finyx a fun and rewarding place to work - Lots of socials - from summer parties, trips abroad, sports screenings and team dinners, there is a lot of emphasis to socialise in informal environments (all of course, optional) - Training - from lunch and learns, spotlight calls and training bootcamps there are always opportunities to learn. More formal courses like ITIL and Prince 2 are also encouraged - Inclusivity - I have experienced sexism and seen non-inclusive behaviours at both of the firms I worked at previously, and it is refreshing to say that everyone here is simply a team member - irrespective of gender, ethnicity, age, grade or sexual orientation - Care - everyone at the firm genuinely cares for each other; for their welfare career, and day to day life. Everyone is ready to help regardless of the ask - Most importantly, we are human. Finyx understands that work is one part of life and that it's normal to have good days and bad days, that you might need to do the school run, or to attend a doctor's appointment - and all of those things are ok.
Cons
- As we are a growing firm there are always things to improve on e.g. communication - Despite huge improvements to the benefits package, some improvements could still be made to ensure that it is in line with our competitors.
