I have been working at FlexJobs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazing team effort and support. Phenomenal management and training. I have never been happier working for a company before. I genuinely appreciate the company's core values and 110% believe in what they represent and aim to do. And the CEO is truly an inspiring person!

    Cons

None. I mean come on... you work remotely and still meet some amazing people, what more could you ask for?

    Advice to Management

Keep up the positive reinforcement and encouraging energy, it has been what makes you guys really stand out as a company. :))

I have been working at FlexJobs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Love the people. Love the mission. Love the flexibility. I sincerely believe FlexJobs is leading a revolutionary movement in the future of work.

    Cons

Nada. While every company has areas of growth I would not consider any of those areas for FlexJobs as cons.

I have been working at FlexJobs (More than a year)

    Pros

Very efficient company. Focused and positive company culture.

Management listens to feedback and is quick to implement changes for improved productivity. I have been working for FJ for about 1.5 years and not once have I felt a sense of stagnancy or negativity beginning to set in among the workers or company culture.

FlexJobs is very appreciative of employees and contractors, and is focused on their clients and customers.

Website membership has nice perks, including access to skills tests and more.

    Cons

Option for group health insurance would be nice

    Pros

    Flexible working environment
Great company that offers a wonderful platform for working professionals who want a career and a family.

    Cons

You do sometimes miss the in-office benefits like brownies and after work drinks, but I feel very connected to who I work with and appreciate the flexibility over those little perks.

    Advice to Management

Keep on keeping on. This is great company to work for and the integrity and ethics that are valued here are unique and incredible.

    Pros

Great flexibility and a positive culture where people love their jobs. FlexJobs management communicates clearly and often and moves quickly to address/help find solutions to issues brought to the table by employees. They listen and get involved. The company's integrity comes through in the way we work with job seekers (making sure that scams cannot get through our system/bringing to them only the best, legitimate flexible opportunities) and the way we work with employers (bringing resources to them to help find the best flexible talent and help them promote their flex story and brand). The culture is inclusive and social - we have a variety of ways that we connect company wide (virtual happy hour/trivia in our virtual office on Sococo, virtual yoga classes at lunch hour, we use Yammer to share what's happening in the company but also personally (i.e. we have groups focused on interests like a book club, a Pay It Forward area where we share volunteer activities we are doing, an area to share photos, etc.)

    Cons

I try to work someplace other than my home office on occasion just for a change of scenery and the be around others! Only con of working from home is that it can be isolating if you are not used to it.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing!

I worked at FlexJobs as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Offer flexible work arrangements for employees. The CEO is very passionate about the mission and is very personable. She met with me personally to discuss my goals and how I might be a good fit with the company and their needs. The team I worked with was helpful as well.

    Cons

I only did project work for them so I cannot say anything about being a full-time employee. I was pleased with my experience. I would have liked for the project to turn into full time position but at that time it wasn't in their plan.
