Pros

They pay decently but soon you'll realize it wasn't worth it.

Cons

1) They only hire young folks who can work for late hours, which builds pressure on the others who don't wanna work for 10 to 12 hours each day 2) The upper management has never seen good startups so don't know how to manage a company. They're just people who abuse their reputation. 3) They think only about their product and not about the employees 4) They want you to know everything about drones but if you tell them their code is full of **** .. They don't wanna listen to it or work on that 5) They keep themselves understaffed and expect employees to fix everything .

We’re sorry to hear that your experience led to this level of frustration. Let’s address a few of the points directly—because beneath the language, there are sentiments that deserve clarity. * On working hours and team pressure: FlytBase is a high-agency, high-intensity workplace. That’s not a secret—it’s how we operate by design. People here take ownership, move fast, and push limits—not because they’re told to, but because they care. If someone prefers to be told what to do during set hours and nothing more—that’s a clear mismatch, and we respect that. No one is asked to stay late for the sake of appearances. But those who thrive here often choose to go deep, stay late, or stretch—not because of pressure, but because of passion. * On management and experience: Our leadership team has built FlytBase from the ground up—without copying playbooks, and without waiting for perfect conditions. We don’t claim to have all the answers. But we do believe in learning through building, not theorizing. That means decisions sometimes evolve fast, and yes, sometimes mistakes are made and corrected just as fast. * On product vs. people: We care deeply about both. But we’re building deep-tech, not lifestyle software. That means the product is central—because it’s what earns customer trust, drives global adoption, and ultimately creates the space for people to grow with it. If the product isn’t world-class, everything else collapses. So yes, we prioritize product—and we don’t apologize for that. * On feedback and code quality: Constructive technical critique is welcome—and often acted upon. But how feedback is shared matters. If your feedback is rooted in care and clarity, people will listen. If it’s rooted in contempt, they won’t. That’s true anywhere. * On lean teams and expectations: We hire selectively and run lean by design. That’s not about saving costs—it’s about preserving talent culture density. We'd rather have fewer people with extreme ownership than a bloated team with diluted accountability. We understand FlytBase isn’t for everyone. We’re building something hard, ambitious, and enduring—and we’re doing it with people who want to grow fast, take real responsibility, and help shape a new category. That’s never going to feel like a 9-to-5 job. For those who value that challenge, FlytBase is a launchpad. For those who don’t, we hope they find the right place to thrive.
