Pros

many talented, hard working individual contributors. unfortunately, leadership makes it political and pins high performing individuals against each other. self service revenue is growing. all PLG led - not really a 'pro' for sales.

Cons

many cons: - CRO is toxic, emotionally abusive, manipulative, unempathetic. worth considering he has a data science background, no experience in sales and sales leadership. have seen him rub customers the wrong way, says 'no' to everything. really not someone you want managing you. - very high sales attrition. people dont make it past 1 yr. most get fired 3-4 months in, if you're based in the US, you'll be reminded that your european counterparts are cheaper. - no training. you will be forced to spend half your day building a website, instead of pipeline. - very long hours. 12 hours is a light day and you're expected to be online/responsive all the time. -lots of politics. be careful who you share information with. it's cutthroat and theres a lot of back stabbing. - product has a steep learning curve and is expensive compared to many other options. long sales cycles and very difficult to sell.

Pros

- Offsites (forced fun but whatever) - Brand is ok - Company seems to be doing ok financially?

Cons

- Sales is 3rd class in the org. PLG growth has led to Sales team not being treated as a priority as PLG business is main cash driver - Leadership is very difficult/impossible to work for given they have never worked in Enterprise Sales before - CRO is a piece of work, take that as you will - Crazy expectations and long work hours - Uncompetitive compensation (that's if you even close business) - Hire and fire culture, very cutthroat - Mediocre/poor Enterprise fit - Companies don't want their dotcoms on a sitebuilder
