Pros

You MIGHT work on a decent project. You get overtime food and a paid taxi ride home only after you work your a$$ off till10pm

Cons

low and uncompetitive salary, NO PAID OVERTIME (working 15-20 hrs a week for FREE), time off in lieu for working weekends, very long work days/weeks, unreasonable deadlines, no employee protection, amateurish vfx supervisors, poor facilities, old computers/monitors, a sluggish dated pipeline, broken tools, old company leadership that has no idea what they're doing and or how to treat artists with respect, they let go senior artist but keep cheap interns and juniors.

Unrespectully “upper” management

Pros

It is hard to love now.

Cons

They have forcefully asking everyone back to the office minimum of two days a week. People got their full remote request rejected and had to commute 2.5h each trip, or asked for a doctor notes to prove their illness, which can sometimes hard to get given the waiting time with NHS. Careless management and HR team. Huge negative effect on employees’ motivation to go extra miles with their work and very heart brokening to see how my colleagues suffer from the “ upper management’s” decision. We revived a “ well-being “ email last week and I just laughed.

Pros

Cool projects. Some supes are great.

Cons

Had one terrible supe. Gaslit, insulted, distrusted, talked down to on a regular basis. Artist manager was unhelpful and just took supes word for everything. Never experienced this poor of management style in the dozen studios I've worked for. Will never return, would rather quit the industry than risk having to work with this person again.
