Pros

Call tracking is an Innovative market niche (Cat is a Cat, don't try to disguise it into a Lynx).

Cons

The Sales Management has a serious lack of vision and highly micro-managing people. It doesn't make sense to explain to people how to sell (like all those Sales Gurus that you find on Linkedin) the real question is If they are so good at selling, why don't they sell with you ? Why don't they leverage their network ? The CEO, is just a facade with good communication skills but she is only interested in her own personal branding and will tell you that she can leverage her nonexistant personal network of VP ....Blah blah ... You will only get what you earn at Freespee. Finally, The Founders have no idea how "mind twisted" is the management in charge of the business in this company and it affects the company's reputation seriously in the market.

Thanks for your feedback. I can feel the frustration in your review and I wish we had had a chance to discuss this before you left Freespee. Like a lot of companies, we had to make some changes to adapt to the way COVID disrupted our industry, and this is never easy. But the changes have ensured the long term stability and growth of our company. Freespee’s management team has a clear vision for the future which our team fully backs and supports. We are extremely proud of our sales team that continued to bring new logos to our company as well as growth with our existing brands during 2020. We continue to empower and develop our teams.

Pros

There were some people with real vision and intent to make the company great - the former ceo and founder being one

Cons

There was a certain level of dysfunction in key relationships among senior management, particularly between the then CEO and the COO at the time (now departed for another role elsewhere) which made working and succeeding at freespee utterly impossible. I understand there is new management there now and things have long since stabilised.

Thanks for your feedback. It seems you left Freespee before 2018 since we have not had a COO since then. The senior team at Freespee is super aligned on making our company great for our staff and our customers. We have a clear vision of Freespee’s future that is shared with the rest of the company on a regular basis. Senior management is more aligned than ever before as we faced the challenges of 2020 together with our customers. We also attach high importance to our staff wellbeing and success as illustrated for instance by the creation of a wellness committee for each of our offices or the provision of a LinkedIn Learning account to each of our employees.

Friendly Company in a Competitive Market

Pros

Very welcoming company. Staff extremely friendly in some ways you feel part of a family. On boarding in the Swedish HQ very useful to get an idea of the company and the technology. A lot of freedom to grow within your role. Very good client retention.

Cons

Very competitive market. Especially in the UK. Communication can breakdown between offices. Can be quite unorganised at times. Support for staff needs to be better especially for certain prospect/ client meetings.

Thanks for your feedback. Communication between offices is indeed very important, and this is why we invested in several tools and initiatives to make sure we communicate efficiently. We are a small and agile company in a fast growing market so our priorities do evolve rapidly, but we always make sure we keep our staff up to speed, and this is why we have All hands meetings, lunch and learns with the whole company every week.
