I have been working at FrontRange Solutions full-time

    Pros

Very good colleagues. Helpful and supportive.
Salary isn´t the worst on the market. Line Managers are mostly very helpful and supportive.

    Cons

Management doesn´t care about the employees....and you can feel it.
Increasing workload and no option of getting more staff.

    Advice to Management

Care more about the employees. Mentality of ¨If you don like it here, you can always leave¨ isn´t the best reputation for a company..

I worked at FrontRange Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Little to recommend a business that has so little regard for staff and so little ability to execute upon its plans.

    Cons

Not much to add to the comment above as it sums up the position quite straightforwardly. Too little time spent by Management considering the real world rather than abstract ideas of what the business would like to do. Far too little recognition of the very real issues operationally within the business and still less time spent addressing them.

    Advice to Management

Think before you make your plans and prior to hiring staff. Less politics and more support for the people executing.

I worked at FrontRange Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people were great. Talented hard working and great collaborators.

    Cons

Poor staff retention due to poor management. Salaries were also unbalanced. Too much control at the exec level in the US. Not enough control was allowed outside of HQ.

    Advice to Management

Cultivate and nurture talent. Focus on employees and not profits. Provide better salaries.

I worked at FrontRange Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some great people trying to make a difference. Some good tools waiting to take the market by storm.

    Cons

Difficult economic climate leaves little opportunity to promote team work, everyone out to protect their own interests. Poor management and leadership.

    Advice to Management

A great opportunity to truly be the market leader lost due to lack of focus on the product portfolio resulting in poor product integration and poor marketing. So much money wasted on an unnecessary re-branding exercise which has lead to more confusion. De-motivated employees working to try a make a difference with no management support. Time to take a step back and seriously look at what FrontRange is really about and what your values are.

    Pros

Nice friendly team with many well meaning capable colleagues and associates

    Cons

Hopeless management so bad you can not believe that the board supported them for so long whilst they trashed the organisation and bled the acquisitions dry whilst self promoting themselves.

    Advice to Management

Get out before the board sacks you. Oh they did already! well done!

I worked at FrontRange Solutions full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

They had the potential to develop a great product that is unique in the market.

    Cons

Like so many companies they focused on New Sales and Product Development and left the actual customer service and support to flounder.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your Employees - when are you going to Wake Up and realize that you lose Good People every day by not valuing them and your Company and your Customers suffer as a result???

    Pros

Great people made this a super place to work.

    Cons

With the merger with Landesk and creation of new company "Ivanti" it remains to be seen how how it and it's offerings will impact loyal HEAT Service Management customer base.
