Interesting company, great opportunity

Pros

It's an exciting environment with huge potential. In my experience the senior management are supportive and encouraging. There is an expectation that goals will be met, people will work hard and if you say something will be delivered, it is expected that this will happen but there's a sense of collaboration, pulling together to manage the company through growth and change. For me personally, being able to work flexible hours remotely has meant I can do a full-time job around family commitments and that's unusual.

Cons

As a rapidly growing company experiencing transition, there can at times be a bottle neck when needing feedback or direction. I think this will improve greatly as new recruits settle into their roles and responsibilities are more evenly delegated.

Pros

Flexibility of timings, a good learning curve, working in a new and upcoming area of technology, exposure to different domains and responsibilities as this is a start-up company.

Cons

Too much micro-management, no proper clarity about forward plan, delayed payments, hostile work environment, lack of trust

Demoralizing

Pros

The salary is alright and most of the other employees are pleasant to be around. Some of the problems are interesting.

Cons

Some members of management are extremely difficult to deal with as they have no real technical ability (some breadth, no depth) and because of this they can confuse knowledge of terminology with intelligence. Some employees have been "dressed down" publically. On the other side of things, few of the analysts seem to respect the management and at times this makes for a very unpleasant place to work. Staying out of the crossfire can be stressful. Don't get me wrong, not all of the management is so unpleasant, but it only takes a few (vocal) apples to spoil the bunch.
