Pros

The best part of working at Gap Talent was the people. I made great connections with supportive colleagues, and the work, particularly in travel and hospitality, offered a chance to learn about different cultures and locations.

Cons

Gap Talent lacks clear leadership and direction. Senior leaders often fall short, leading to frequent changes in strategy and an unstable work environment. The company has a high turnover rate, with employees cycling in and out due to unresolved issues. The commission structure is also poor and lacks transparency. Management’s toxic style involves blaming employees for things outside their control. There’s a culture of retaliation against those who voice concerns, further contributing to a negative atmosphere. Severe micromanagement and a lack of trust in employees create a fear-based culture.

Pros

I didnt know the first thing about recruitment when I joined but Gap took a chance on me and I was guided and helped throughout my time with them. Recruitment at Gap is very unique and highly rewarding and their motto of changing lives really is what they do.

Cons

Communication could be a bit better. Some members of the Talent team can be quiet negative which can have a bearing on others.
