Pros

Clients Insurance Staff Size of outreach

Cons

CEO is egotistical, sexist, and elitist. He micromanages everyone and gets angry when he doesn’t understand something he doesn’t know. He is closed minded and an inefficient leader Leadership gossips about lower level staff and supervisors they don’t like Time off HR is unresponsive and only shows up to fire people Residency Program is top priority and general staff get no perks or consideration Values are on the website but are not a priority to leadership, not are they concerned about hiring staff who can see clients with insurance or with Medicare. Leadership is focused on profit and not quality of care. No raises including price of living increases What you start with is what you end with unless you get promoted. Gateway does not pay enough for most staff to maintain a high quality of life.

Pros

None! Don't work in this terrible place.

Cons

Avoid working for this circus!! The managers act like clowns who do not know what to do. None of the managers have any leadership skills, and so the work environment is a mess. Some managers are okay but inexperienced. While some managers are experienced but extremely toxic and arrogant. There's no winning with the management. Avoid!

Pros

I have worked at several different sites and working with the clients were some of my best days with Gateway. The team of people I worked with were supportive and compassionate to provide quality care for our clients.

Cons

Only the executive team gets raises. Issues brought to management are usually met with termination for "difficult" employees. The CEO is mostly interested in the residency program while his employees are living paycheck to paycheck like the clients they serve. Clinical management is rude and unapproachable. Nothing can be resolved because the HR Director doesn't care enough to make the workplace a better environment. The turnover rate is ridiculous. Good place to start, terrible place to stay.
