Pros
Gen3 is a women-owned small business consulting firm that primarily operates remotely. However, as a government contractor, my position requires a hybrid work arrangement, spending 2 days working remotely and 3 days onsite. This arrangement offers an excellent balance for my work-life.
To keep employees engaged with the company and each other, Gen3 provides periodic sessions over Microsoft Teams. These sessions include updates, training opportunities, and celebrations. Gen3 has also given me the opportunity to participate in future projects, such as proposal writing.
The company funds training, certifications, and equipment, which I have personally benefited from. My salary corresponds well with my experience and location. Additionally, Gen3 offers annual bonuses and sends gift cards for special occasions, milestones, and recognition.
They believe in maintaining a flexible work schedule, allowing employees to track their hours over the week. For instance, if I have a doctor's appointment on Monday, I can make up the time later in the week instead of using my annual leave. I truly enjoy working for Gen3!
Cons
I have not taken advantage of many of the medical plans, as I am already covered.
