Pros

For starters, you can't beat this product. GooseChase is in business to help companies have fun. Whether you're in engineering, product, revenue or operations, you get to spend your days thinking about how to help people have more fun. What could be better? Secondly, at GooseChase work/life balance isn't just something they talk about, it's what all decisions are based on. And here, work/life balance doesn't mean working wildly long hours but getting free food and a gym membership you never have time to use. Here, it means having the time and space during your work week to get your work done, and having the time and energy to do whatever you find fulfilling outside of work. A few ways in which they accomplish this: - transparent and authentic leadership so you always know what we're working towards - fully remote team, work from wherever you want - asynchronous teams so you can work from whenever you want - bootstrapped and profitable so no investors to answer too - vacation day allowances are minimums, taking time off to recharge is not only encouraged, it's required.

Cons

I'm going to do that classic interview thing where you list out weaknesses that are actually strengths. Don't work here if: - you want a firm 9-5 - you work best in highly-structured and meticulously-planned environments - you need someone to tell you what to do everyday - you want to be a small part of a big machine. we're a small team.

Pros

1. You can work from anywhere in the world 2. Benefits include a coworking stipend and new hardware stipend 3. CEO is passionate about the team and product

Cons

1. Lower salaries than industry average. 2. Erratic management that’s trying to do too much too fast. Might be expected for a startup this size 3. Inexperienced management. This might change as the team grows. 4. Poor mentorship for new hires and a generally lackluster onboarding experience. This is generally quite common at small startups

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear about your less than stellar experience at GooseChase. We are committed to providing competitive compensation and we offer biannual compensation reviews for all team members and we've actually recently revamped our onboarding program to provide a better experience for all new hires. We are always seeking to improve, and we appreciate your input as it helps us to make GooseChase a better company for everyone.

Pros

Remote independent work 4 day work weeks Health insurance plans Flexible vacation time Amazing co-workers (no seriously, they are all amazing) A good balance of hard work and fun Social events Annual tech, personal and development budgets Honest feedback Competitive salaries Profit sharing I am sure I am forgetting something!

Cons

Like any start-up, they can to have a few bumps in the road when it comes to organization and communication. But I have seen huge improvements in the 2 years I have worked here. Career opportunities come as the company grows so sometimes there is limitations but they are open to giving employees opportunities to grow when they can. Again, like any start-up.
