Pros

You probably learn some structured thinking - but at an extreme misery and distress. Hard pressed to find other pros - perhaps being in NYC is a positive as you can go to other interviews by taking half days Don't stay here for more than a year.

Cons

1) The hours are extreme - during engagements its regular to hit 90-110 hours. Its miserable - especially as there is no gratitude for your hard work 2) The pay per hour is worse than the summer job you did at high school. Don't trust any pay promises or salary in your offer letter (except perhaps the base salary). Or can you even trust that they will not move the base salary? 3) there is no client exposure and no growth 4) The culture will make you a nihilist 5) you will suffer and will be miserable 6) this place offers 10 day annual vacation. don't go there!

Pros

Everyone apart from the MD is great. Real smart people, you'd wonder why they ended up here.

Cons

You'd be made to work a lot to make money for one man. Definitely not worth it if you already have a job. What you face inside is just abuse. The firm may have been growing once, like eight or nine years ago, but the setup is pretty rundown now. He somehow manages to get top quality people to work for him, by posting on school websites. Its mostly fresh graduates out of college or grads without options. There is a ton of turnover that you will not find on LinkedIn. Whatever you do, do not join here. Wait the pain out. Join a startup, but don't do this. Before you join take time out to reach out to people who left .

Pros

No real pros here. Working one month is equivalent to working one year elsewhere in terms of hours and unwarranted cumulative stress. Forget about military - if you can survive working here for more than two months without committing suicide, anything else will seem easy to you. I really don't know how it's physically and mentally possible to stay longer than that. Fellow workers are smart and good people who chose the wrong path by accident.

Cons

Everything is dictated by the managing partner (Deepak). There is no concern over your health whatsoever, you are considered a fixed cost that needs to be utilized to the most extreme. He hates the mindset of modern workers, by that I mean anything related to workers' feelings, work culture, or rights. Really don't recommend anyone going through hell, it's easy to lose your mind and have some sort of post-traumatic experience.
